"Not surprisingly, Broncos rookie receiver Eddie Royal was inactive for the game today against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Royal, who had 30 catches for 321 yards through five games, suffered a badly sprained left ankle last week against Tampa Bay. Also inactive because of injuries were defensive lineman Ebenezer Ekuban (groin), running back Selvin Young (groin), tight end Tony Scheffler (groin), defensive tackle Josh Shaw (groin) and running back Ryan Torain (elbow). Veterans Michael Pittman at running back and receiver Darrell Jackson were inserted into the starting lineup. Among those dressing were tight end Chad Mustard, who was signed Monday, and second-year defensive linemen Jarvis Moss and Tim Crowder."
