Nets GM says he's 'hopeful' trade for Dooling will happen

The Orlando Magic's at times shaky relationship with guard Keyon Dooling the past month will apparently end with him taking his game to the Atlantic Division and the New Jersey Nets. The Newark Star-Ledger and multiple other media outlets cited sources over the weekend that the Nets and Magic have a deal in principle for a sign-and-trade for the 28-year-old eight-year veteran. "I'm hopeful ... that we can make a trade," Nets team President Rod Thorn told the Star-Ledger.
