Ducks' Niedermayer to be paid full salary

The Ducks will repay the entirety of Scott Niedermayer's salary that was originally withheld from the defenseman while he sat out training camp in 2007. Citing a misinterpretation of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the NHL and NHL Players' Association reached an agreement that will give Niedermayer $490,909.
