The Los Angeles Clippers' Tuesday acquisition of Marcus Camby from Denver for an option to swap 2010 second-round draft picks has ramifications for the Bulls—and not just because it takes a frontcourt player linked to them in trade rumors off the market. Camby's $8 million salary for 2008-09 eats up the majority of the $12 million salary-cap space created when Elton Brand left the Clippers for the 76ers. That means a big-money offer from the Clippers for restricted free agent Luol Deng of the Bulls is no longer possible.
