Chow finds peace after Titans job

They say life takes some interesting turns. Well, a coach's life takes some weird U-turns. Consider Norm Chow. When he was offensive coordinator of the Titans in March 2006, he was the featured speaker at a coaching clinic at the University of Tennessee. Six weeks from today, he coaches against the Vols. "It's funny how things work out, isn't it?" he said. Nobody saw this coming, least of all Chow. For three years, he ran the Titans' offense. Then he was fired eight days after the playoff loss. A week later, he was hired by new UCLA Coach Rick Neuheisel as offensive coordinator. On Labor Day night, Chow will coach against UT in a game at Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif. "We've gotta play somebody, but I'm not sure playing Tennessee is what you really want," he said.
