"Closer Matt Capps (shoulder) is progressing with his rehab program in Bradenton, Fla.

"Things are going better than anticipated, but we are still weeks away from full activity," general manager Neal Huntington said. "If all goes well, he will be (throwing) off a mound within the next two weeks."

Huntington added that there's been no need for a second medical exam. "
