Are the Chicago Bulls' Matadors, the big boys of basketball who entertain fans during home games, headed to the big screen? Disney made that hefty claim this week, but a spokesman for the team says that's like celebrating a championship before you've even scored your first three-pointer of the season. Steve Schanwald, executive vice president of business operations for the Bulls, confirmed the team has had conversations with various parties but told the Sun-Times that a feature-length film based on the popular, rotund male cheerleaders "is a long way from being a done deal at this point and, until it is, it would be inappropriate for us to comment further."
