"Anquan Boldin likely will undergo an MRI to check out a nagging hamstring problem.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt said Boldin has been working hard on the side during the team's practices, and, "Everything seems OK except when he really opens it up."

The Cardinals hope Boldin can test out the injury by the weekend.

At the same time, "You don't want to run the risk of tearing it or further injuring it and spending more time out," Whisenhunt said. "We're being a little bit conservative."

Also, a course of action could be announced in the next day or so on center Al Johnson's sore knee. He could undergo a surgical procedure to clean out the knee or try rehab work.
