Free agent Joshua Cribbs, formerly of the Browns, visited the Jets yesterday, according to two sources. Cribbs is a speedy receiving threat, plus an explosive kickoff returner and capable of running the Wildcat.

Cribbs has had a tough time finding a job this offseason because of questions about his health. He had offseason surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee.

According to sources, Cribbs also visited the Raiders this week and received a contract offer. Cribbs is tied for the NFL career record with eight kickoff returns for touchdowns.
