When Bradley Beal's rookie season ended April 2 because of a stress injury to his lower right leg the Wizards projected his recovery to take six weeks which would've been late May.

August is around the corner and while Beal has been cleared to resume a lot of basketball activities he hasn't engaged in contact for almost four months.

There's no need to be alarmed however or wonder if there's something more serious going on here.

Beal admitted he still had soreness in early July and didn't participate in Las Vegas summer league as anticipated but he did hang around to join USA Basketball mini-camp. He didn't fully participate however doing only non-contact drills.
