Last weekend, tempers flared between the Wizards and Phoenix Suns.

As the blowout was coming to a close, Wizards forward Trevor Booker had words with center Jermaine O’Neal of the Phoenix Suns.

Then Wizards point guard John Wall got involved, though it didn’t escalate.

The second game of a four-game road trip happens for the Wizards on Wednesday night in Phoenix, which could be keyed up for their last chance to get even (CSN, 10 p.m. ET).

“(Jermaine) and Book got into an altercation. I got in between and told them to just keep playing. It was a misunderstanding,” Wall said. “He’s somebody, as a veteran, I respect that plays in this league. I just apologized and kept it moving.”
