Detroit Red Wings defenseman Kyle Quincey has multiple fractures in his cheek bone and will be sidelined four-to-six weeks, general manager Ken Holland said.

A decision on whether Quincey needs surgery will be made next week.

Quincey was hit in the face with the puck when it deflected off his stick after a shot by Edmonton's Jordan Eberle with 2:01 left in the third period of Friday's 3-2 overtime victory over the Oilers.
