Once suspended New Orleans Saints Coach Sean Payton returns from his season of exile, sometime in the coming weeks, he could be faced with big decisions with his assistants coaches.

The contracts of valued assistants, offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael and offensive line coach/run game coordinator Aaron Kromer, reportedly both have expired. And both coaches have interviewed for head coaching jobs, so there remains a chance the Saints could lose one or both to other jobs.

Also, one anonymous Saints player came out this week and questioned whether the Saints should retain defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo following a season in which they yielded an NFL-record 7,042 yards.

This could leave Payton in a precarious situation. Will he have to revamp his coaching staff when he returns?
