Talk about a whirlwind day or two.

When Rudy Gay was traded from Memphis to Toronto, Gay figured there was very little chance he'd be able to suit up for the Raptors on Friday night. But he did, and turned in a strong effort.

It became more impressive when you realized what kind of a day he had had.

"It's been crazy," Gay said not long after he and his new club blew out the Los Angeles Clippers.

"From Oklahoma City to Memphis to Toronto, and play in the same day, it's a lot. Not to mention packing my dogs up, moving people around, packing clothes up, it's a lot. It's a lot to move," he said.

Gay had spent his entire career in Memphis. He said he returned there at 3 p.m. on Thursday from Oklahoma City and immediately tried to get organized, furiously packing and trying not to forget anything while leaving his fiancée and their aforementioned dogs in Tennessee for now.
