Arsène Wenger has confirmed that Gervinho and Marouane Chamakh could be set to leave Arsenal on permanent deals in the next 48 hours.

Gervinho 26 is understood to be on the verge of a move to AS Roma while Chamakh 29 has been linked with Premier League new-boys Crystal Palace.

“[With] Gervinho we are at the moment close to an agreement with a club where he should go” said Wenger.

“Chamakh might go somewhere it will be decided in the next 48 hours. [They are] permanent moves.”
The Frenchman also confirmed that Nicklas Bendtner remains an Arsenal player and that he is not currently set to join another club.
