At one point in the second half of the Warriors' 101-95 loss to San Antonio on Wednesday, coach Mark Jackson asked Monta Ellis if he needed a breather.

The shooting guard might have laughed if he hadn't been so focused on the game. He had 38 points, seven assists and two steals in 44-plus minutes as he tried to will the Warriors to a victory in a place they never win.

"It's got to stop some time," Ellis said after the Spurs beat the Warriors for the 27th time in a row in San Antonio.
