Jakub Voracek will benefit most from the postponement of Tuesday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes, a rare 6 p.m. start at the Wells Fargo Center.

Voracek sustained a bruised left hand in Monday’s 4-3 overtime loss in Uniondale, N.Y., to the Islanders.

Coach Craig Berube said Monday afternoon that Voracek was a “game-time” decision after warm-ups, but now he's had an additional day for the hand to heal.

He was slashed early in the third period by Cal Clutterbuck.

Because the Flyers will not skate this morning, Voracek will not be able to test his hand and see how the swelling is inside his glove until warm-ups this evening.
