The Vikings will head into April's NFL draft with nine picks, general manager Rick Spielman said Friday, Feb. 15.

The team will have its own picks in all seven rounds, in addition to an extra pick in the fourth and seventh rounds. The extra fourth-rounder is from a 2012 draft deal the Vikings made with the Detroit Lions, while the additional seventh-round pick comes from the deal the Vikings made to acquire cornerback A.J. Jefferson from the Arizona Cardinals in September.
