So, as I'm sure you've probably seen by now, Fox 11 in Green Bay has put out a story saying that the Minnesota Vikings have an interest in current (and soon to be former) Green Bay Packers wide receiver Donald Driver.

I'm not sure if the English language currently has the words to express just how ridiculous such a thing is.

Driver turns 38 on Saturday. He's been a very good receiver for most of his tenure in Green Bay. . .it would be pretty dishonest to say otherwise. However, Rick Spielman has expressed an interest towards rebuilding with younger players through the draft and younger, lower-level free agents. It makes little to no sense for the Vikings to entertain the thoughts of signing a guy who, as soon as pen hit paper, would be the oldest player on the Minnesota roster.
