It's another milestone for Adrian Peterson.

The Vikings' star running back Sunday became the third-fastest player in NFL history to gain 10,000 career yards. He did it with a fourth-quarter run against Chicago at the Metrodome.

Peterson was playing in his 101st career game. The fastest to 10,000 yards were Eric Dickerson, who did it in 91 games, and Jim Brown, who did it in 98. Now fourth on the list is Barry Sanders, who reached 10,000 in his 103rd career game.
