Something weird is going on in Philly.

On Thursday quarterback Mike Vick declared himself to be out for Sunday against the Cowboys due to a hamstring injury suffered 12 days ago. On Friday however the team officially called him questionable.

So how can Vick be 50-50 to play (which is what questionable means) if he says he’s out?

One possible explanation is that Vick is wrong about the severity of his injury. The other more likely explanation is that the Eagles have opted to stick with their plan to list Vick as questionable until he’s able to play which will keep their opponents guessing regarding his actual status.
