Apparently it doesn't take Chase Utley very long to get his hitting stroke back … at least when it comes to facing the pitching in extended spring training.

Utley, in his first game action of the year, went 3 for 4 with a home run and double as the DH in an extended spring training game Monday in Clearwater, Fla. More notably, it was the first time Utley ran the bases in a game situation all year.

"That's a good sign," said manager Charlie Manuel, who says he plans on speaking with Utley sometime on Monday. "When I started seeing him running in the outfield, that was a good sign, and the last couple days here he did that real well."
