Josmil Pinto is a "hungry" ballplayer manager Ron Gardenhire said Sunday someone who is "really interested" in showing the Twins he deserves a spot on the 2014 roster.

He makes a pretty convincing case.

Pinto launched a three-run home run into the Tampa Bay bullpen in the bottom of the eighth inning Sunday rallying the Twins past the playoff-contending Rays 6-4 at Target Field.
