Two more Minnesota Twins have been added to the World Baseball Classic mix.

Right-hander Samuel Deduno, 29, was recently informed he will be part of the WBC team for his native Dominican Republic. Deduno went 6-5 with a 4.44 earned-run average in 15 starts for the Twins last season after signing as a minor league free agent.

Also, veteran utility infielder Jamey Carroll has been notified he is part of the reserve list for Team USA. Carroll, who turned 39 on Monday, Feb. 18, would be added to the roster only in case of injury.

Carroll and Deduno took pictures in WBC gear Tuesday morning during Photo Day at Hammond Stadium.
