Joffrey Lupul found himself skating down memory lane.

James van Riemsdyk needs to jog his memory.

The Leafs reworked their forward lines Tuesday night in a 3-2 win over Florida, and the changes sent a message to van Riemsdyk that the big winger occasionally needs to hear.

While Lupul was making magic again, firing two goals on the top line, in place of van Riemsdyk, alongside Tyler Bozak and Phil Kessel.

Coach Randy Carlyle was searching for a spark after the Leafs, coming off a shootout loss to the Bruins the night before, started extremely flat and soft against a Florida team that sits last in the NHL and has lost the most man games to injury.
