Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is most of the way back, but he is still feeling the effects of the back injury that cut short his 2013 season in one respect: His deep passes aren’t quite as good as they used to be.

That’s the word from Cowboys quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson, who said Romo has had problems throwing long.

“I think the deeper the ball goes down the field, it’s a little bit more inconsistent,” Wilson said, via the Star-Telegram. “He’s thrown all the intermediates — the fours and the seven routes and the deep outs – have been fine.
