Tommy Hanson became the final Angels starting pitcher to make his spring debut. He lasted two innings against the Reds and allowed only a solo home run to Jay Bruce.

Hanson said it was the first time he's seen live batters since Oct. 2 of last year, when he pitched his final game of the season for the Atlanta Braves.

"I went out in the game and everything was up in the zone," he said. "In the bullpen, everything was down."
