One Toews was enough for Patrick Kane. But two in training camp?
"Geez," Kane said. "It's going to be a rough ride for me."
The sibling rivalry between Jonathan Toews and his younger brother, David, was on full display Saturday as they went head-to-head in the first scrimmage of training camp.
"He had a good chance in the slot, and I can't let him have this," Jonathan said. "He hung on to it too long. He had to get rid of it, so I had the time to lift the stick before he got the shot off."
David saw things differently, of course.
"I had a lot of time, so I was just kind of waiting for the goalie to go down," said David, who was acquired from the New York Islanders last week. "I kind of bobbled it.
