Don't expect new defensive coordinator Todd Bowles to make many changes to the Cardinalsdefense. In a press conference with head coach Bruce Arians, Bowles said the Cardinals will stay in a 3-4 base defense and that he won't make any dramatic changes to the defense.

The Cardinals played in a 3-4 scheme under former coordinator Ray Horton and their defense was the lone bright spot of their 2012 season, ranking 12th in total defense and 5th in passing defense. Horton was one of the final candidates for the head coach position in Arizona, but left for Cleveland after Arians was hired.
