The third line drew plenty of praise from Jets head coach Claude Noel after Tuesday’s shootout win over the Lightning.

Alex Burmistrov, Eric Tangradi and Mike Santorelli had plenty of ice time in crucial minutes. Burmistrov, in particular, had more than 20 minutes of action, which is a long way from his four-game stint in the press box in mid-March.

In fact, it was the first time this season that Burmistrov played more than 20 minutes.

“I thought they were outstanding,” head coach Claude Noel said. “I thought they were really good. That was one of the better games I’ve seen Burmi play. He was really good.”
