The Detroit Lions are being linked to several free agents, and former Houston Texans free safety Glover Quin has been added to this growing list.

NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah is reporting the Lions are interested in Quin as free agency begins on Tuesday.

"Hearing a lot of buzz about the Lions and safety Glover Quin. Tomorrow could be an active day for Martin Mayhew."
Quin was a fourth-round selection by Houston in 2009 and has been incredibly consistent throughout his four-year NFL career. He played cornerback during his first two NFL seasons before being switched to safety. Last season, he ranked second on the team with 77 tackles (59 solo).

Overall, Quin has started in 44 of 47 career games, has 314 tackles (250 solo) and five interceptions. He has not missed a game in the past three NFL seasons, and only earned $565,000 in 2012.
