Cowboys rookie wide receiver Terrance Williams missed two days of practices and two preseason games because of a concussion.

Williams returned to practice late Sunday afternoon and moved right into the No. 3 spot on the depth chart.

"It felt good and it was good to finally get back in after watching" Williams said. "Just a matter of listening to what the doctor was saying but getting the mental reps in and paying attention to what coach Garrett was saying and try not to make those mistakes on some of the things that he was talking about during the meetings."

Williams is expected to play in Saturdays' preseason game at Glendale Ariz. against the Arizona Cardinals. It will be Williams' debut of sorts. Williams has gotten better each day during training camp practices from fewer mental mistakes and of course making plays in the field.

"I have to continue to keep proving myself on the practice field and getting advice" he said. "I'm trying to get better and I thought today I did."
