Tim Duncan was ready for the increased physical play from the Los Angeles Clippers coming into the series.

The Spurs have answered the Clippers and their bumping, grinding defense with some of their own after claiming a 105-88 victory Thursday night in

Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals.

"Yeah, it's the playoffs," Duncan said. "It's just going to be that way. We're not surprised by it in any way. Obviously, we all saw the last series they were in and how physical that was. We expected the same."
