For the second day in a row, Rams wide receiver/return man Tavon Austin did not practice because of an ankle issue. On Monday, coach Jeff Fisher said the team may try to get Austin on the practice field by the end of the week. We’ll see what happens Friday.

Austin no longer is wearing a walking boot, and seems to be walking normally. Of course, there’s a big difference between walking without a limp and making all the cuts and changes of direction that are part of Austin’s game.
