It shouldn't shock anyone that Pistons guard Brandon Knight wasn't that active at Wednesday morning's shoot-around.
As teammates shot and worked on one-on-one drills around him, Knight -- wearing sweats -- participated in a passing drill with fellow injured list member Andre Drummond.
No running. No jumping.
Just standing while passing and catching the ball with Drummond.
Assistant coach Brian Hill later confirmed what was apparent -- Knight won't quickly recover from a left sprained ankle he suffered Monday night at Utah.
"He's got pretty good swelling in it still," Hill said at the Sports Club/LA. "It's probably going to be something that's going to take awhile."
Sprained left ankle will sideline Pistons' Brandon Knight for a while
