There is the man who knows what it's like to lead the American League in hitting when he is 20 years old. He admires Mike Trout.

"I've really been paying attention to what he's been doing," Al Kaline said. "It's been amazing."

In 1955, when he was 20, Kaline hit .340 for the Tigers and won the AL batting title.

Trout, the Angels' 20-year-old outfielder, leads the AL in hitting with a .349 average.
