The Chicago White Sox will try to avoid getting swept in an interleague series for the first time in nearly five years when they face Washington at Nationals Park.

The rival Cubs were the last National League team to sweep the Sox, accomplishing the feat June 27-29, 2008, at Wrigley Field.

The Sox will try to solve Dan Haren and the Nationals without left fielder Dayan Viciedo, who isn't in the lineup for the second consecutive game but came out for early defensive work.

The Sox aren't scheduled to play another interleague road series until May 7-8 against the New York Mets at Citi Field.

Adam Dunn will play left field for the second consecutive game.
