Running back Mike Goodson is expected to return to practice with the Jets on Tuesday, according to a source.

Goodson pleaded not guilty to drugs and weapons charges Wednesday in New Jersey after his arrest May 17. He sat out the first week of the Jets organized team activities as he dealt with his legal issues. Police found Goodson in a stopped car on Route 80 in Denville, N.J., just after 3 a.m. Police say they found marijuana on Goodson and a loaded handgun in the car.

Since OTAs are voluntary, the Jets could not order Goodson to stay away, but the two sides reached a mutual agreement that he would miss this week as he worked on his legal case.
