The Sixers will interview Golden State Warriors assistant coach Mike Malone and Utah Jazz assistant coach Jeff Hornacek for the team's head coaching vacancy, according to Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Malone, a Loyola University Maryland graduate, has 12 years of NBA coaching experience with four different teams: the Warriors (2011-13), the New Orleans Hornets (2010-11), the Cleveland Cavaliers (2004-09) and the New York Knicks (2001-04). Malone also has seven years of college coaching experience.

It's possible the Sixers will need to schedule around the Warriors' playoff run. Golden State is matched up against the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, leading 3-2.

Hornacek has been an assistant coach with the Jazz since February 2011. The Jazz missed the playoffs this season after finishing 43-39. He also played 14 seasons in the NBA with three teams: the Jazz (1993-2000), the Sixers (1992-94) and the Phoenix Suns (1986-92).
