Iman Shumpert’s status for Game 4 on Tuesday is uncertain after the Knicks revealed that the small forward has swelling on his surgically-repaired left knee.

Shumpert did not attend the Knicks morning shootaround here and head coach Mike Woodson said he is “concerned” that Shumpert, who has been the Knicks' best defensive player, may not be available with the team trailing 2-1 to the Indiana Pacers in the best-of-seven second round series.

Dr. Answorth Allen, who performed knee surgery on Shumpert last May, was traveling from New York to Indiana to examine Shumpert. If Shumpert is unable to play Woodson could start Chris Copeland, James White or go small and start Jason Kidd.
