Danny Briere's days with the Flyers are officially coming to an end.

According to the Associated Press, Briere will have the final two years of his contract bought out by Philadelphia. That means "the Flyers are still on the hook to pay Briere two-thirds -- about $3.3 million -- of the $5 million the player was owed." That means he may come to another team on the cheap since the bulk of his salary will be paid by his former team.

Despite his age (he'll turn 36 in the fall), he's still got offensive skill left -- he's a few years removed from a year in which he had 34 goals and 68 points. Plus, check out his playoff numbers:109 points in 108 postseason contests.
