Richard Sherman's whirlwind media tour continued on Tuesday night when he sat with CNN's Rachel Nichols to dissect his polarizing postgame interview.

Nichols opened the interview by asking him if there was anything about Sunday's outburst that he regretted.

"There's not much about it I regret," he said. "Mostly I regret — I guess — the storm afterward, the way it was covered — the way it was perceived. The attention that it took away from the fantastic performances of my teammates."

Sherman confirmed his brother's report that his contentious relationship with 49ers receiver Michael Crabtree began at a charity event last summer.

"That's the short version of it. We're gonna keep it clean," he said. "I told him I was gonna show him on the field."
