Ryan Vogelsong was a feel-good story at last year's All-Star Game, a pitcher who re-emerged after four years out of the majors to become one of the National League's top starters.
Buster Posey would be a feel-good story if he's an All-Star this year, a 2010 Rookie of the Year who missed the final four months of last season with a traumatic injury and now is his all-around self.
"Not just that," Vogelsong said, "but he should be recognized for the type of player he is. He's definitely deserving. He's such a good game-caller and throws well, and he very rarely goes to the plate and gives away at-bats. That's impressive, especially from a demanding position like catcher."
