Despite being a monster of an athlete, most reports indicate that Southern Methodist defensive end Margus Hunt has struggled in the early going at the Senior Bowl. That hasn't stopped scouts from being interested in the 6-8 defensive end, though, as he told Charlie Campbell of WalterFootball that the Jaguars are one team that has kept an eye on him so far.
"I met the Buccaneers, the Packers, the Dolphins, Bears, the Saints for a brief moment, the 49ers, the Jaguars and the Texans as well."
At 6-8, 277 pounds, Hunt was a multi-sport athlete in Estonia where he made a name for himself in the track and field throwing events: discus throw, shot put and hammer throw. He moved to Dallas, Texas in 2007 to work with SMU track and field coach, Dave Wollman, but he eventually began playing football in 2009.
