Mother Nature will force the Senators to spend an extra night on the road this week.

The Senators, who have a 1-4-2 record in afternoon games this season, have had another one added to their schedule after the club's game against the Carolina Hurricanes Friday night in Raleigh was rescheduled to Saturday at noon.

The change was made Tuesday because the Hurricanes had their game in Philadelphia moved to Wednesday because of a snowstorm. Carolina plays Thursday in Buffalo and the league won't allow teams to play three straight nights.

While the Hurricanes wanted a 7 p.m. start, the Senators insisted on playing at noon because they need to be in home in time for their charitable fundraiser at the Casino Lac Leamy Saturday night.
