The Ottawa Senators acquired forward Matt Kassian from the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick in 2014.
Kassian participated in the Wild's 2012-13 training camp before being assigned to the club's American Hockey League affiliate, the Houston Aeros, on Feb. 12. In nine games with the Aeros this season, the 26-year-old has recorded one goal and 12 penalty minutes. He did not see any playing time with Minnesota.
