Maybe the secret to the Indians' success is to keep each game to no more than nine innings.

After losing twice to the Blue Jays – in 16- and 12-inning marathons – the Tribe managed to keep Sunday's game to the regulation nine and won for the first time this season 4-3.

All three games have featured strong starting pitching, offense that struggled to put two hits together and relief pitching that unfairly was tagged with a preponderance of the blame.
