The New Orleans Saints may not be playing like it's 2009 exactly but they're starting the season like it's 2009.

A staunch defensive effort combined with a pass-happy offense produced a 31-7 win over the Arizona Cardinals (1-2) on Sunday in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. It's the first time the Saints have kicked off the season with a 3-0 record since 2009.

The Saints' defense front provided consistent pressure throughout game after allowing the Cardinals a touchdown on the opening drive. Cam Jordan picked up two sacks and a couple of quarterback hurries while Junior Galette and Glenn Foster added one sack each of Carson Palmer.
