Michael Huff won't be visiting the Packers after all.

The former Oakland Raiders safety told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram on Tuesday that he had scheduled a visit to the Packers sometime after visiting the Baltimore Ravens this week, but this morning he reached agreement on a three-year contract with the Ravens.

A report by ESPN said Huff's deal averages $2 million per year.

The Packers appear to have been looking at Huff as potential bargain signing to compete for a starting job at safety. Though he was a starter all seven years in the NFL, he's 30 and probably nearing the end of his career. The Raiders released him this offseason to clear his $8 million in salary and roster bonus from their salary cap.
