It appears the Buffalo Sabres have dealt their captain, Jason Pominville, to the Minnesota Wild, according to RDS.

The Wild pulled goaltender Matt Hackett and forward Johan Larsson off the ice at their practice, fueling speculation that they are involved in the deal.

Pominville was asked earlier this week to submit a list of eight teams to which he will not accept a trade, as per the terms of his limited no-movement clause.

Regier had reportedly told Pominville that with the team's current place in the standings, he needs to see what is available via trade before the trade deadline.

Pominville is coming off a 30-goal season in 2011-12 and has missed just nine games in the last seven years. This season, he's recorded 10 goals and 15 assists through 37 games.

Selected to the NHL All-Star Game in 2011-12, Pominville has ranked amongst the Sabres top performers since his first full season in Buffalo in 2006-07.

In 578 games with the Sabres, Pominville has scored 185 goals and 271 assists.
